Donutville USA, a popular donut maker in Dearborn, Mich. is taking a stand against Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s unconstitutional draconian COVID lockdown executive order.
The decades-old Dearborn donut shop started an online fundraiser after the owners say they were slapped with a fine for not following Grestapo Gretchen’s coronavirus restrictions.
As a result of their refusing to comply with Whitmer’s latest round of unconstitutional shutdown edicts, they’re now facing thousands of dollars in fines.
Donutville USA was charged with a criminal misdemeanor for allowing a customer to sit down while waiting for their spouse to use the restroom.
The East Dearborn, donut maker said it hired lawyer David Kallman of the Great Lakes Justice Center, who represented barber Karl Manke an Owosso, Michigan barber who defied Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s orders in the early part of the pandemic.
After the 54-year-old family business made the decision to fight Gretchen Whitmer instead of giving in to her COVID lockdown extortion, facing fines and attorney fees that may reach upwards of $10,000, Donutville USA created a GoFundMe fundraiser.
So far they have raised over $4,000 in their goal to raise the $10,000 they anticipate their business would need to cover Whitmer’s fines and their legal costs.
Donutville USA Thanks The Community For Their Support
The family-owned business released a statement expressing their utmost gratitude for the outpouring of support from the community.
“Donutville USA and the Porada family are so appreciative of the outpouring of support that we have received. It has meant the world to us,” they wrote in an announcement.
“I will be honest, this has not been an easy ride. We never imagined that there would be so many hate-filled messages sent to our family, simply for wanting to defend ourselves over a fine, which we feel is a bit extreme.
However, the positive messages and your generous donations and support have made things sting a little less. God willing, will continue to serve the Dearborn community and our loyal customers the best donuts and coffee that we always have,”
Gestapo Gretchen Whitmer Thumbs Her Nose At Michigan’s Supreme Court.
Last week TuskerDaily reported on three Republican state representatives filing Article of Impeachment against Gov. Whitmer.
Just a month after Michigan’s State Supreme Court ruled that Gretchen Whitmer’s previous Coronavirus lockdown executive orders were unconstitutional.
Gestapo Gretchen, Michigan’s ‘Do as I say, not as I do‘ governor brazenly signed a new (and equally unconstitutional) executive order shuttering schools, theaters, indoor-dining restaurants, bars, sporting events, and other recreational activities, while also imposing a 10-person limit on indoor gatherings.
